THE WHAT? e.l.f Beauty has reported its results for the third quarter of fiscal 2024. In the three months ended December 31, 2023, the mass market brand saw net sales increase a whopping 85 percent compared to the same period in 2022, hitting US$270.9 million.
THE DETAILS Gross margin increased approximately 350 basis points to 71 percent and adjusted EBITDA climbed 61 percent yoy to US$59.1 million, or 22 percent of net sales.For the nine months to December 31, 2023, the make-up manufacturer reported sales of US$702.8 million, a rise of 80 percent.
THE WHY? e.l.f attributed its success to strength in both retailer and e-commerce channels.
