THE DETAILS The closing date was provisionally set for February 14, 2024. The offering was made pursuant to an effective registration statement filed by The Estee Lauder Companies with the SEC on May 20, 2021.
THE WHY? Lauder said that it intends to use the proceeds of the offering for ‘general corporate purposes’, which could include funding a portion of the purchase price to acquire the remaining interest in Deciem, operating expenses, working capital, capital expenditures and repayment of debt.
